World championship in floorball has started Seven boys and six girls teams participated at a festive opening ceremony of Floorball World School Championship 2009. City hall of Trencin has welcome them together with many other important guests in head with member of Slovak National Council Ms Magda Kosutova, chairman of Trencin self-governing region Mr Pavel Sedlacek and others. School sport has been represented by chairman of the Slovak School Sport Association Mr Anton Javorka and director of Executive Committee of the International School Sport Federation Mr Norman Kever who has opened this championship personally. Already first matches of the tournament showed that fans of this sport have a reason to look forward to it. From the beginning the Swedish teams seem to be expected winners in both categories due to the sovereign victories beyond their opponents. Boys and girls of organizing country – Slovakia are, until now, a fine surprise of the tournament.
